Pros

CE Broker has a great atmosphere. The staff really supports each other and try to ensure everyone is successful. Started off in the call center and was able to promote from within the company very quickly.

Cons

It is an open work space so you have to be really focused to not get distracted.

Our support positions are a great place for people to start - it's where a person can become fully familiar with our products and customer base, hone their skills and then progress in the company through a wide variety of paths that appeal to their talents and interests. To address your comment regarding the open office, you're right - this can sometimes take adjustment. While this workspace layout promotes a collaborative and a well-connected team, it's also important for employees to know how to balance their own needs, tasks and work styles. One way we assist our employees in this is by allowing most positions to work from home once or twice per week, as long as it is appropriate for their team's needs. It's one of the many ways we embody our value of Living Balanced.

Pros

Flexibility, great benefits, even better coworkers, and the work allows for enough problem solving and researching that it keeps it from growing stale as quickly as most other support jobs.

Cons

Like all support roles in any given company, some of the people you speak with can be frustrating but the Pros certainly outweighed that Con for me.
