      Pros

      I really enjoy the benefits and the pay is decent. The 401(k) is one of the best around. I like the computer benefit, too.

      Cons

      Pay once a month. 401k match paid at the end of the year. 1 week limit to PTO carryover. The turnover of management. The new management group is not technical and cannot be trusted. Fraternization runs rampant. The owner has trouble focusing. There have been so many promises and "Rah Rah" speeches that do not materialize. The company seems so lost now.

      Pros

      Small company so more individual contact and support Avid in securing new contracts, both sub and prime, to provide more diversity for employees. Generous 401K matching. Leave sell-back at end of year.

      Cons

      Paid once a month Can't carry over more than 40 hours leave at end of year. Too much employee turn-over

      Pros

      Small company so everyone knows each other. Friendly staff Fair compensation Staff is very helpful The company wants to see their employees succeed. Close to Washington DC and Baltimore Decent benefits

      Cons

      As a contractor, you will not work with them directly. You will most likely have a different work location with different bosses and team.
