gain experience in your field. good benefits, holidays, time off. there are lots of other jobs with PHI to look into.

Cons

RUN! multiple people have left because of disorganization. it’s not worth your sanity. it’s a close knit group that have know each other for decades, they do not offer opportunities for growth, and they seem content with the high turnover. look for other jobs at PHI, not this group.

Pros

Very good benefits and employee support (particularly for a USAID contractor). Great way to work for USAID.

Cons

no transparency around salaries, what the different scales for different level Fellows. When asked about salaries, a range, increase one is met with hostility. This is an organization of mostly women and women run. Starting to feel like women keeping women down.

Cons

Upper management. Manage through fear. Horrible, conniving, underhanded group I have ever met in my life. Deceitful without morals or standards. Underpaid, overworked. Backstabbing and lies.
