You are still a worker bee at the end of the day, working your tail off for upper management and stockholders to get a fat check. I was commended time and time again by higher management for pulling off the impossible or going above and beyond, but it’s all just their mental manipulation to keep you satisfied at their unethical pay rate. A pay rate that at least guarantees you to qualify for government benefits like Medicaid and foodstamps.

If you are a resident manager you then forfeit raises and get state mandated minimum wage. They are slow to update. Still using tech and programs from 2005. If your area is under staffed then the only way to get time off is to be in the hospital. Even then you have a small window to return or you will be fired. Zero room to grow within the company. If you are hired to work at the office level then you will never move up. Noticed in my entire region all District Managers, Regional Managers were referred from friends who already had the position. They hire people they know like family and friends in those positions. High expectations and demands and your only recognition is a pat on the back and “now try to beat this month next month” They are not picky in who they hire. You will work with people who have serious substance abuse issues.
