Pros

Nothing, nothing at all.. Absolutely the bottom of the barrel.

Cons

This company is completely based on lies. They'll say stuff like " we've never fired anyone" when you get hired. The truth behind that is the will steal all of your hours away in attempt to leave you homeless. DO NOT rely on this job for your bills. They expect the workers to work past 11pm, then turn around and have you come early morning. Completely disrespecting their employees outside of the work space life. This is just another company that will try to bend you to there will. One wrong move and they will 100% try to make you suffer. The pay is trash. They can't even offer a straight schedule. They use everyone partially, so no one employee can benefit. STRONGLY based on whether they like you or not. They also waited to deliver multiple occurances two weeks later. Pretending they were close instances. They'll lie to your face if you call them out on anything. "No, we have nothing against you, we don't do that here". This company is a joke and the definition of fake it till you make it.

Deli life

Pros

Some co-workers are great and actually work as a team. Pay. Benefits, after 90 days. 401k and stock.

Cons

Management of this deli is not Publix Advertisement. They don't get rid of the people who call out 3 out of 5 shifts for weeks in a row. Fulltime must close at least 1 day, however part-time also gets scheduled but only the ones not favorites or off work friends of deli manager. Zero enforcement of Publix policy or rules unless Steritech drops by. You will not get trained except for cbts which are not adhered to. Your only option to advance is transfer because they do not care about your work ethic and drive at all

My experience

Pros

>Job had flexible hours, >Pay was at the time good for someone attending college, >opportunities to improve and move up the job/career ladder. >Good amount of hours given.

Cons

>My management had a tendency to not listen to my concerns. I had asked for less hours to help focus on studies (keep in mind i was averaging between 40 hrs per week) , But I was still given an over bearing amount of hours. This also lead to me burning out on varies points of time in this job. >Working hard and doing well at the job paid off at first but management would start expecting far from me i.e. covering others employees tasks or doing an employees assigned task because they were simply not good at doing it. >Had team leaders and certain higher management would micro manage employees to the point where it would hinder work. >Inconsistent hours would and could wear you down mentally. working from 5pm - 1am then coming at 7am to work another set was exhausting.
