      Good place to work, just more of a high school job unless you plan on moving forward with the company.

      Pros

      Good hours, great management, pleasing and friendly environment. Received holidays off, and closed at a decent time. Family friendly company, so worked with your schedule well.

      Cons

      Doesn't give out good raises, at least as a normal employee. Received .25-.30 raises at a time. Otherwise, not a lot of cons. It's a good company to work for, as long as you're willing to put in the time and effort to go above and beyond, you'll make your way up to management. Don't expect to walk in to publix with a good job, they promote from within, so you'll start low.

      Pros

      They have great benefits. they promote from within and you don't have to have a college degree. flexibility with hours if you are in school or have another job.

      Cons

      favoritism, you have to sometimes kiss butt to move up. hard to get full time, they only give to the people they see moving up to management.

      A lot of stores to transfer to if unhappy with management.

      Favoritism by management. Inconsistent scheduling practices 3 to 25 hours per week.
