      Can't beat the campus environment

      Pros

      Variety of AP positions available at the university. The atmosphere of working on a college campus is amazing. The students bring a vibrancy to the work place. Reduced tuition for classes. Most faculty are outstanding individuals. Intercollegiate athletics is great.

      Cons

      As with many government funded institutions, belt-tightening is taking place. Some (not most) faculty can be difficult to work with. Fees for parking on campus.

      Pros

      It used to be a convenient spot to travel to before they moved everyone around. Also, if you are right on campus, the police are good.

      Cons

      There is no respect for your fellow employee. No courtesy, no nothing. They treat you like you are nothing. I ate lunch at my desk just to catch up on my work, no one ever appreciated it. I have never worked at such an uncaring place.

      Very positive work environment. Always encouraged to grow and develop. Very pleased with the opportunities that were presented to me.

      I really don't think I could say a negative thing about my experience at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
