Free produce... sometimes The marketing department uses mac products

- The head of marketing is a complete narcissist and LOVES to kiss managements butt. This person also talks out of both sides of their mouth and loves to create drama internally. - In the marketing department you're expected to work 24/7 because the head of marketing does. - The marketing department head has unrealistic expectations with workload and treats the "team" terribly, having zero remorse for mental health. - The marketing department is a non-stop revolving door (I personally saw x4 team members quit while I was there). The head of marketing is the primary reason they can't keep people, even tho they will tell you it was someone else. - If I had to describe the culture of the company in one word it would be "toxic"

Sometimes we got free veggies... that's the only "pro" I can think of.

Cons

ZERO work/life balance. They expect you to be "on" 24/7. The owners either didn't properly vet the head of the department I worked in or didn't care about his past... either way, it's not right at all. The guy is a major narcissist who love bombs you one day and then gaslights you the next. It's a wonder I only had ONE nervous breakdown and not multiple. HR is a JOKE. They don't have your back at all... An entire department complains about the head of it, and it's not taken seriously. They expect you to work A LOT of overtime, but you don't get compensated for it AT ALL - no extra pay, no time in lieu - which is illegal.

The marketing department is a revolving door that can’t keep any employees. The workload, micromanaging and stress levels are insane. This department will seriously affect your mental health. It isn’t even worth the pay cheque. Please read all the reviews. They are completely true. HR does not take any complaints seriously, no matter how many issues there are, no matter how many peoples lives are affected, nothing changes. Do yourself a favour and stay far far away.
