Pros

1. A crash course in resilience—you’ll learn to survive on promises instead of paychecks. 2. Leadership provides free entertainment; watching excuses evolve into fairy tales is a skill in itself.

Cons

1. Founders vanished from India when things got tough, leaving employees to handle the mess. 2. Claimed there were no funds to clear salaries, taxes, or PF—but somehow managed to hire a lawyer to block experience letters. 3. Employees who worked day and night were framed as wrongdoers instead of being thanked. 4. For months, we were asked to run the show on half salaries, while leadership enjoyed full excuses. 5. Responsibility always rolled downhill, but accountability never rolled back up to the management.

Pros

Exposure to modern AI tools

Cons

Management frequently changes goals without clarity and consistently ignores employee feedback, leaving teams confused, demotivated, and directionless.

Pros

You get to handle a lot of responsibility quickly.

Cons

Oh, where do I start with this circus? Plans flip-flops every day and no one seems to know what's going on. The founders vanish when things get messy, leaving the rest of us to clean up their disasters. Salaries are late or only partially paid, and management acts like that's totally fine. People burn themselves out working crazy hours, losing weekends, and still get blamed when things go wrong. Leadership couldn't care less, and there's zero chance to actually grow or move up. It's stressful, chaotic, and honestly exhausting.

Trust Issues? Maybe It's Just the Ego Talking

Pros

1) Lunch is on the house, and if you're lucky enough to work on Saturdays (as requested by management), there's even pizza! A slice of motivation, anyone? 2) The core tech team is packed with talent—if only they weren't slowed down by those ever-important management calls. Imagine the potential if they were actually allowed to work! 3) The HR team is always eager to help, though it's a bit tricky when they're kept out of the loop by top management. Still, kudos to them for trying to make the best of it!

Cons

1) Management seems to think Indian employees are here to relive the glory days of colonialism—working hard with little to no recognition. 2) Opinions? Who needs those? Apparently, management believes respect is an outdated concept. 3) Interns, or as management likes to think of them, the oxen of the company. Speak up? Sure, if you're looking to test the efficiency of their firing process. 4) "Divide and Rule" isn't just history here—it's a management strategy. A classic, but not exactly inspiring. 5) Salary delays are always creative: from "US banks are on holiday" to mysterious "fund wiring issues." At least there's never a dull excuse.

PureCode Software Response
11mo
We do not agree with the characterizations in this review, as they do not reflect the reality of working at PureCode Software. Our teams — both in India and abroad — are valued for their contributions, recognized for their achievements, and treated with professionalism and respect. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, and we strive to create a collaborative environment across all levels of the company. Salaries are paid in accordance with contractual terms, and while rare operational delays can occur, they are communicated and resolved promptly. Our interns and full-time employees work on meaningful projects aligned with their roles, and feedback is encouraged at all levels. We welcome constructive criticism delivered in good faith, as it helps us improve. However, the claims here are inaccurate and do not align with our policies, practices, or the experience of the vast majority of our team members.

Pros

The only reason to stay was having a paycheck, and even that barely felt worth it.

Cons

* Management is unbearable to work with and turns every day into a source of stress and frustration. * They micromanage and bark orders as if employees are incapable of thinking, creating a toxic and insulting environment. * Their incompetence is dragging the company toward disaster, and employees are left to suffer the fallout.
