Pros
Salary levels are not bad. Good people at mid-managment level
Cons
Company is run by Operations people who don't like or trust sales people. Not enough support staff to bring on business in a timely manner. Pricing department insists on 40% margins or higher. Operations people do not know how to negotiate with carriers. IT is out of date and Accounting is still a manuel process. Constant struggle between Strategic Sales and Field Sales over accounts. Branch Manager's are not allowed to make decisions regarding pricing, their expenses or their personnel yet are held accountable.
