There’s always a fun vibe and atmosphere. The company has made owning the fun part of its core values and at my location they certainly back that up. Management is friendly, understanding, and most importantly, helpful. They understand that it’s a team process to keep a venue like this running smooth and truly are a resource when you need the backup. My managers have frequently helped me clean up tables and do other side work when I’m stuck in the weeds. They all ask if we’re doing ok and how they can help. My experience has been great so far and most days I’m actually really looking forward to work. The company really likes to hire from within for management, so there is plenty of opportunity to grow with them. They have teams of associates that they will pick to travel to new venues and help them open. There are also opportunities to go to events in the local community and help get the brand out there to more people. Puttshack is certainly a place where, as long as you put your best foot forward you will be rewarded.
Cons
It’s the service industry. It’s hard work and obviously people can be rude and things go wrong. The venue gets busy very frequently. Mini golf brings out the families and kids by the hundreds, so if your pet peeve is children, Puttshack may not be the best place to work.
