people can be great to work with; benefits are good, pay would be also if you weren't overworked.

Cons

no training. no work life balance. Usually there is zero strategy for all the initiatives in place, and it becomes counterproductive. Executives have no clue what is going on in the day to day yet expect top performing results. Believe all the reviews. Every. Single. One.

Pros

Generally, everyone working at my level was dedicated and creative, wanting to work together to solve problems. Pushback in writing can often be circumvented by direct conversation, only you have to work to find the right person.

Cons

Department directors held grudges, so cross-team communication is stifled. It's not a software company, so the software teams strain to function properly within the corporate domain and project lifecycle.
