Pros

- Training - they have product training - Nice co-workers: best drama place, gossip - Good snack, drinks - I would say okay health coverage - VSP, Delta Dental - Nice wellness center for relaxing or break - Can take long hour lunch

Cons

- Horrible management, they disrespect to employees - So little room to grow, no advancement, they don't promote within but just hire someone on top of you - Pay little, cheap to their employees, - Often times, you have to find something to be busy, otherwise, time go so slow. - Terrible working environment, you just don't feel right - Don't really need skills to do the job, a high school grad can do it - Takes forever to increase your salary - Arrogant leaders who doesn't know anything - Taiwan HQ won't let go of power and let the local people manager it - Don't trust employees - Expansive and quality issue as well as never able to deliver on time - Their background check takes forever and invalid - Just be aware of that poker faces, "you know who" - They don't keep their promises, once you are in, you have to play their rules

Pros

Products are pretty great. Technology is competitive. HQ is resourceful and provides backup as needed.

Cons

Management needs some serious work, especially upper management. Little to no room for career advancement.

Nice Building

Pros

Mostly a great group of people to work with... well most of them. Great building. If you just graduated from college, might be a good first job. Leave after a year and you will find other companies that are run very differently, more practical, more advanced and with less turnover of employees.

Cons

I have never witnessed an organization with an open door policy where the employees were too scared to speak up for change. The management style is run by the book to the letter of how they see fit. Upward mobility is limited. If you read the rest of the reviews on this site toward the cons, it is very accurate. Don't be fooled, this is not an American management style company. Some of the positive posts were probably generated by internal upper management who seem to hold grudges when people make suggestions for improvements. The people holding the grudges probably have their hands tied and can't really make the necessary changes, probably frustrates the hell out of them. They don't seem happy. Common tools and practices used in other companies are not here. You will need to provide yourself with the standard office tools and supplies (Keyboard, mouse, possibly laptop, monitor, stationary etc). Mostly antiquated processes using excel spreadsheets. You are there for one thing, sales. Everything that would be beneficial ancillary tools to increase sales and communication are low on the priority list. This company is not a start up. It is not rapidly expanding. If it was, there would be less negative comments on this site. Truly though, it is not a start up. They like to think they are, but no.
