Thank you for leaving your comment here for us - we appreciate it. We agree - training is absolutely paramount to new employees in the field, which is why we've launched a comprehensive, one of a kind training experience in our solar industry for all new hires coming in the door.

While this review is a bit dated by the time we could respond, we do feel QE Solar pays a great wage compared to experience coming in the door. It also helps for candidates to know your career's pay scale for the area you live! Glassdoor and other online resources can help you understand what's fair and comparable for your level of experience, too. There's a ton of opportunity for overtime, especially in the summer when the daylight hours are longer!

Pros

Remote work. Decent salary. Most of the mangers don't have solar experience so if you come in with any you will know more than them.

Cons

Clients like the theory of what this O&M company does, but won't utilize the service. They complain that things are under performing but refuse to allow techs to go on site. The field techs are under trained and really mess things up more then fix things. You end up training field techs how to do their job and t he field ops management is impossible to reach. Working 7 days a week and zero work life balance. Company paid health benefits.

While this review is a bit older by the time we could respond, we really value this kind of feedback from employees. It sounds like you've got some great ideas for helping customers be more effective, so hopefully you've helped voice and make those improvements in the past year. Managers are also 'working managers' and rely on appropriate delegation with customers and with field operations. We hope you've been able to find that balance, and that our new training programs are helping field technicians get a faster start!
