Pros

Lots of challenges since they are a fast growing company. Company has been growing through acquisitions.

Cons

Limited advancement opportunities. Since they have multiple locations office culture varies for each location. In some cases managers are supportive but in others favorites receive more care.

Pros

Great Facilities, Great Workers, Decent Pay & Benefits, Future looks promising, growing....growing.... growing

Cons

"A few bad apples trying to spoil the whole bunch" If you are not happy with your job and you don't recommend this company to a friend....go somewhere else!!!! In the current culture it is hard to get rid of those who do not perform. Too many people wanting a free ride and not willing to do a good days work... Way too many different application/software to monitor and supply input in order to get 1 job simple task done. The OSC should be a one stop shop for requests from employees....Example: we shouldn't have to contact an individual department to get a password reset ....if the OSC doesn't have the capability then they should have the responsibility to coordinate the efforts to get it done.

The culture is what you make it

Pros

This company has an incredibly solid foundation that they are using to build a rapidly expanding business. They understand the need to differentiate themselves from the "space and power" guys in the market, and they have (recently) chosen to do this through their front line employees. The "Powered by People" campaign is all about having the right people in a job that fits their skills, and making sure everyone understands that they are part of the customer experience. This is truly a company where you are the culture where you work. If you want to have a crappy day, you make it a crappy day. If you want it to be a great working environment, it is.

Cons

The company is expanding so fast that they are outgrowing many of the original systems that were put in place to run the business. So stuff changes a lot. If you are the kind of person who needs things to stay the same, this is probably not the place for you. Some of the sites were acquired, and had a culture that did not entirely fit with the QTS way. Any time the culture of a company changes, there is going to be some fallout. Management figured out who could and who could not make it in the "Powered by People" environment, and it appears there has been some purging of those who could not cut it. I can certainly see why this is frustrating and disappointing for some, but ultimately it makes the company stronger, and a better place to work for those who get it.
