Pros

Co-workers. Good networking resources for finding a real job.

Cons

Horrible work environment with a shell game path to advancement. if you're not wiling to drink the Kool-aid and bow down at the altar of the QTS collective, you will not succeed. The site where I worked is a true facade, with the elaborate glass and artwork up front and the heart of the facility in shambles(poorly maintained and leaking equipment, archaic and cumbersome operating systems, etc.)all due to shoddy site leadership. "Management" is condescending and petulant, stopping at nothing to promote their own self interests while quashing any and all criticism. I only stayed as long as I did due to a sluggish economy in this market. Last but not least, after six years of development, this site has little to show in customer occupied space. Not a good recipe for long-term success.

Pros

Free coffee. .. 25 cent vending machines.. bring your cousin , uncles , father in laws, army buddy.. they'll hire em for sure

Cons

Re organize your life once a month to fit a hectic ever changing work schedule..Unless you're best friends or you're related to the manager. It's the type of place where you can work your way up. I was here for 7+ years literal blood sweat and tears, but once you've given them near a decade worth of your time someone related to the manager comes in and gets the perfect shift. That's another thing, 24 hour facility most of the work is done after hours and on weekends.. only the morning crew gets to advance and be praised for their commitment. They guys that leave their home and families at night and weekends and all major holidays, never mind them. The morning crew gets all the o.t and and work all the emergency maintenance s.. because obviously it's o.t and the praise is high "thank you guys for all your hard work on this one day of the year" everyone else who is scheduled to work every night and weekend.. never mind them.. btw they get to sleep in comfy cots and sleeping bags after the maintenance is done. God forbid you try and sleep shift guy.. you're supposed to be awake and drive home and continue with your daily routine.. And you're expected to be back here and ready to work a full shift.. and God forbid you try and sleep night troll...

Pros

A place with great potential. A nice location, dedicated & knowlegable staff, decent benefits and growing business.

Cons

There's not much "quality" here. No respect. No reward. No communcation. No organization. No resolution. No policy or proceedure. Its all smoke and mirrors. Run, run as fast as you can.
