      Pros

      Quikrete continues to grow by acquisitions, so there is a lot of capital to go around.

      Cons

      However, this is not an attractive company to work for in 2025. The company operates in a very old school manner. The offices look like they haven't been updated in decades, and their technology is the same. Their benefits leave much to be desired and they require 5 days per week in office, offering zero incentives to want to continue commuting. Very high turnover with people quitting days/weeks after starting. If you are looking for a modern company with any kind of culture, this is not the place for you.

      Family owned, private company, no auditors

      Cons

      Family owned private company, so they can pretty much do whatever they want. In bed with Cigna. Worst medical insurance I have ever experienced, and the cost is astonishingly high. Discretionary 401K match, and if they do contribute it is done the following year. Pay is in arrears, bi-weekly for salaried employees, so you better have money saved before you start. JD Edwards operating system. The ONLY way to benefit by working for this company is to have nothing else (something is better than nothing). If you have other options I suggest you take them.
