I worked for a company that was recently acquired by Quikrete. Upon acquisition, employees learned things would be handled much differently (and not in a good way). Benefits were absolutely ridiculous, there was no communication from upper management, people were stripped of job responsibilities without explanation. Basically, everyone was in the dark and probably still is. They told groups of people they would survive the acquisition, only to come back a few weeks later and tell them they were going to be let go. With one group, they did this 3 or 4 times. People were/are in a constant state of anxiety, waiting for upper management to change their minds. It is absolutely unconscionable how they treat their employees/run their business. Advice to anyone thinking of working for Contech Engineered Solutions/Quikrete: RUN AWAY! Avoid the sinking ship.
