Pros

Unlimited vacation, remote work, some good leaders

Cons

Acquired another company (Talend) and its been several months and still no clarity about the future, who works for who, org structure. Top level leadership announced and that's it. No one really seems to care about the Talend people - not sure why we acquired them. Stress seems to be affecting leaders.

Pros

Benefits; remote work; mostly nice colleagues at peer level

Cons

Extremely top heavy; constantly revolving IT and Sales Sr. Management; extremely politicized environment, which has led to poor morale and infighting; far too few IT resources assigned to extremely unrealistic project and operational deadlines; constantly changing priorities and goals at the executive level; extremely limited career paths, especially in IT; lip service to diversity

Pros

Collegiality and overall friendliness of everyone I've encountered. Good work/life balance.

Cons

A barebones 401k program that offers a meager match. Too much organizational silo'ing and institutional confusion. Nobody REALLY knows what anybody else does except if they work closely. Poorly defined processes and a deference to senior staffers breaking any process there is in place because they're just too important; an HR department that doesn't even have a general number; opaqueness around promotions; a performance management system ("conversations") that, without providing ratings and just narrative assessments, seems largely designed to avoid people pointing to strong annual assessment to justify promotions. A non-equitable bonus structure; only people within certain salary bands are bonus eligible. I've never encountered this before and for a company that prides itself on equity that's pretty hypocritical. An obsession over surveys, analyst reports and a huge emphasis on sales to the point of sidelining every other concern. Oh, and lastly, an employee survey that doesn't ask a really obvious and tough question: Do you feel fairly compensated?
