      Used to be a great company

      Pros

      In the past, it was a people-centric, forward thinking company with focus on a great product. The only current pros are that the handful of remaining leaders and employees from past days that haven't been let go are wonderful to work with.

      Cons

      The company has turned into a greedy machine that does not value its people whatsoever. That is evident by the mass layoffs every time there is an acquisition and the completely arbitrary way people were chosen to be let go of. Literally it was like they chose at random... and didn't care at all. Lars must be ashamed to see what became of his former Swedish-cultured company. Likewise the product offerings have become schizophrenic. It's like Qlik has abandoned what its sweet spot was to try and touch every possible offering and vertical they can without really thinking through the repercussions.

      Don’t ever work here

      Pros

      Can’t think of any good reasons to sacrifice your values, your autonomy, and your soul to work here

      Cons

      Insane micro management culture, Quotas and goalposts always changing to benefit the company, doesn’t value employee work or feedback, zero trust in management or their vision. Pay that is 30% less than comparable roles with comparable companies. Support teams being decimated by layoffs, little to no product dev in years, tech is difficult for clients to implement and time to value is terrible.

      Pros

      The only thing that has been good about my experience over the past year is getting to know my colleagues. I wasn't able to meet them because it's a remote company, but it's been good working with them.

      Cons

      Where do I begin? I am early in my career but have excelled in my job. I have been meeting my quotas and making the company money but was recently laid off along with other high performing women and minorities. This company is very cutthroat and they talk a lot about DEI and making a positive impact. In reality they are the opposite. From having female executives in management positions we've gone to a primarily white-male dominant management.
