Very Few Incentives for Rank & File Employee

Pros

Weekly paycheck and medical coverage. Enjoy my co-workers.

Cons

Corporation is too top heavy. The executives are tone-deaf and make many decisions about operations, they know very little about. The top executives get huge bonuses, while the incentives for the rank & file have been stripped to the bare minimum. Many positions are becoming centralized, such as HR, IT, Pre-Press, Safety and others, which leads to a revolving door of attrition and contributes to poor morale. The fear of losing your job is constant and imminent. There is NO communication between management and the employees, unless another plant is being closed down, or another executive position has been created.

Corporate Trainee

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

The Trainee Program is a great opportunity to get your feet wet in many different departments of the company. The people in the program, along with alumni, become immediate friends in and out of the work place. Every trainee has their own path of rotations which means not everyone has the same experience. Trainees are able to feed off each other to discover their niche. Networking is the most important skill a trainee must have in order to get the rotations they are interested in.

Cons

A trainee may be placed in a rotation they are not interested in, in order to have the knowledge to be placed in a rotation that they would like to graduate in. The program coordinators do the best they can placing trainees in rotations that they are interested but its usually last minute. Trainees have to be flexible in where they live and what their rotations require of them. Many of the rotations out of state have been temporarily terminated due to cut backs.

Pros

None. Nothing more than a paycheck. Do not work here period. Nothing pro about this company at all. Avoid at all cost. Do not even think it over. Not even for a second.

Cons

Low pay. Vanishing benefits. Inept Supervisors. Punishing physical labor.
