      Was treated like dirt because I wasn't part of the "in-crowd"

      Pros

      Plenty of opportunity to sit and do nothing because management hired too many people. I learned I hated the corporate environment.

      Cons

      Coworkers at Pittsburgh plant were awful. If you are not part of the "in-crowd" for whatever reason, be prepared to for "bullied" in the workplace. They will make fun of your clothes, perfume and criticize every move you make. I think they hire people they don't like just so they can make fun of them.

      Pros

      Coworkers were great. Good attitudes despite stressors of industry.

      Cons

      A big time commitment. Turnover was terrible so having to always do more with less. Management says they support work/life balance but don't do much to show it. Please do whatever it takes to get it done.

      Pros

      The staff. People are great. Also, we make things work even when for all intents and purposes it shouldn't have. Lots of smart people working together. Within our department, our teams are structured in a good way and I feel like most people fit in their roles well.

      Cons

      Stress levels can be high as "ready, fire, aim" leads to lots of half-baked ideas being "needed yesterday". No upward mobility. Too top-heavy of an org chart. When I'm in a position 5 levels from the CEO but each level above me has more than 10 people in a role who are all Presidents, breaking the barrier to go up is much more difficult.
