      Pros

      -we have some really smart people here. -you can still work on really cutting edge techno.

      Cons

      -do not promote from inside. -no other major company around San Diego. Gives management to an easy position for salary/promotion when employee have no choices but to stay. - with the recent employment boom we end up with lots of people coming here to retire.. and political pple - parking is a mess. You won't find parking here unless you park 4 blocks away. - office is a mess, we did growth to fast had are now 3 in one small office.

      Pros

      -great benefits -there are some really good projects, if you can land one -I have worked with some people who are really fantastic, both personally and professionally. Very smart.

      Cons

      -there is a lot of pressure to work quickly due to someone else's bad planning. -easy to get overloaded with multiple projects -some projects are just soul killing -they have been cutting back on flexibility, like "no standing telecommute days" -I have come across some people who are "dead wood", that is, just not getting fired. -The Golden Handcuffs, meaning the benefits can be too good to leave, even though you want to
