Pros

It's a very merit-based place, with lots of room for growth. There is a lot of flexibility as long as you get the job done. Plus, it is always nice to work for a company that makes sure that the final product of your effort is good.

Cons

There is a serious lack of standards, and a bit of confusion that comes from people not being entirely sure who is in charge of what project. Also, on occasion people end up on two projects at once.

Pros

The company forms long-term relationships with their clients, and provides great opportunities for extended engagements. They also have a flexible work environment, with the freedom to achieve goals on any time frame that doesn't interfere with client schedules and needs.

Cons

Flexibility and loose infrastructure means that people need to be good at identifying their own structure. If you are not a self-starter, you may not succeed here. Management will not breathe down your neck telling you what to do, but when all is said and done you better be doing something of value.
