Pros

Flexible work, basic benefits, dependent on client and direct management. I was lucky to have a wondering team and client.

Cons

Job security isn't present, internal movement unlikely, overall company outlook trending downward. This was a stepping stone role I took after a prior layoff only to have been laid off again.

Everything else is a con. Leadership changes every few years. Growth is limited, salary is below industry standards, they also forced the entire marketing team to resign because they didn’t want to pay severance or declare it as layoffs.
