Pros
the people you work with are great well at least for night shift.
Cons
they will without a doubt low ball you on your pay. if you get a new job role they 100% without a doubt will try to keep you at your current pay rate even if the role should pay more they expect test area to work like the production area and you can without a doubt get fired for having "Low Numbers" for 1 day out the week. they have turned into Micro management nightmare and if you are a true technician you know that doesn't work well with tech jobs. lately they have been promoting tattle telling for every little thing not just actual issue that require saying something. dont dare try and ask HR for a pay increase because the fist thing they will ask is " how long have you worked for us?" they dont pay for experience they pay for how long you been with the company so dont come showing you know your stuff it will get overworked for no extra pay. each department is treated like we all dont work for the same company. they treat it as if you work for the company that happens to be the customer of the department so dont think your going to learn many things out side of where you start at. if you have a bachelors degree you going to move up without a doubt but if your have an associate degree and actually know what your doing your stuck in the test area and cant even get a role as Engineering Tech or even as an Test Engineer despite showing you know more than the actual Test engineers at times. don't go fixing anything that's outside of your "Job" and showing them that they messed up and how to fix it you 100% will get sent to HR for "Hacking" or "Tampering"
