A most amazing place to work!

Pros

I've been here for almost a year. This place has been nothing but fantastic to work for. My team has great communication and awesome personalities. The term "a good manager is worth their weight in gold" is an understatement on how good my manager is! The P&P team really strives to always find better ways to enhance the employee experience. I consistently feel recognized, appreciated and valued for the work that I do. I can honestly say that I do indeed love my job!

Cons

I haven't really experienced any cons working here at least in my roll. The one issue discussed was recognition but that's consistently getting better throughout the organization.

Pros

Any pros were overshadowed by a deteriorating culture in the product org

Cons

The product org used to have experienced, respectful leaders and a healthy culture. People felt heard and cross‑functional work was straightforward. After pandemic-era leadership changes, culture quickly degraded in my view: more politics, less clarity, and lower trust. One product director came to represent what many of us felt were the core issues: building a small inner circle where dissenting opinions were discouraged, decision‑making that often felt unfair and driven by favoritism, lack of transparency around decisions and context, and promises that weren’t followed through. The team felt very different, and the product org became more reactive and inconsistent, with little long‑term vision. I’ve heard that a new leader joined product org this year, and that director has since left the company. But I can only speak to how things felt during my time there.

Pros

- Interesting technology - Parental leave? (It isn’t good but it exists) - knowing if you can survive here you can survive in the wilderness alone naked and afraid - executive team leads by example in being terrible, so you don’t make the same mistake

Cons

- the executive are genuine case studies in pathological sociopathy - the endless layoffs - the pay, the benefits, the culture, the work equipment, the people - the existential doom that your work and purpose at Quantcast are meaningless and likely part of a dark simulation -the lack of 401k - doom scrolling slack every morning for what terrible thing has or will happen - depressingly clapping for a new CMO, CTO, CPO, CXX knowing that they are just slowly walking up to the gallows of their own demise - the total lack of humanity the culture instills in you - any reason to commute to work and feel good about yourself or your contribution to society - also the free food is terrible
