Powerful science ruined by upper management

Pros

Very smart data scientists and engineers. Modern benefits you'd expect from a Bay Area start up. Great place to grow as an individual contributor / young professional who needs to pick up the basics of product workflow, engineering, data science.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what they want Quantifind to be, so they reinvent the company every few months. Brand business is completely lost in employee turnover and lack of strong leadership. Platform is a homemade BI tool that is far more expensive than superior competitors.

The people are what makes this place great!

Pros

The people. They are smart, kind, humble, collaborative and curious. Benefits: 401(k), Company 4% Match, company pays 95% of monthly medical insurance premiums, flexible vacation, pre-tax commuter benefits, lunch 3x/wk, breakfast 2x/wk, unlimited snacks and beverages.

Pros

- Awesome culture: kind people, ability to fail fast and learn quickly, no BS, agile sprint system - Ability to learn cross-functionally: tons of collaboration between Customer Success, Product, Data Science, and Engineering, which leads to a ton of innovation. Many new products/ideas have come from this meeting of minds - Great benefits for a startup of ~50-60 people: 401K with match, 90% healthcare coverage (includes dental and vision), stocks, free lunch and breakfast during the week, company-sponsored happy hours and fun events - Huge upside: strong SaaS product with a ton of potential - Great place to start your career/come with a few years experience, or pivot from another industry into tech/SaaS/data science

Cons

- Commute can be long from SF - live near Caltrain if you commute
