Pros

I have been working with Quantiphi for 2 years now. Working with this group of people is a challenging adventure. NOT because what you have at hand is an organisation that is growing and learning at the same time, but because when your employer is so ready to take risks, the quality trickles down to you too. With this organisation, one is never restricted to what he/she already knows or is an expert at (we believe we are too young to stop at what we already know). We are always guided to explore what we want to know/learn. Sometimes things we probably didn't even know about. Every project we are associated with, is our mini shot at being an entrepreneur. You wanna try something new that you feel might add another angle and value to the work, you are welcome to share and implement. You have an idea totally outside your project, you are always welcome to speak directly with the founding team and they take is seriously if you have a vision. The teams comprise of some super smart people with whom you can always be sure to learn. That's the beauty of working with Quantiphi. You are a part of the family only if you have the drive to add value.

Cons

Since the organisation is at it's early stages, the processes are not set in stone yet. They evolve based on need and feedback from folks who are directly impacted by them. But for sure you get a chance to voice your opinion (what's better than suggesting what suits you :) ).

Pros

If you are a Business Analyst, you will get to work as a Project Manager (for updating Project Management Tools and preparing decks). Not sure of actual business oriented roles. -If you are a Data Engineer, you may get to work as a Platform Engineer/ Cloud practitioner. Forget about big data. -You can ask for changes in the designation (Senior/Junior or Analyst/Consultant) while joining the company. There are more than 40 designations in a company of 300 employees.

Cons

Negative Vibes inside the company: Most of the experienced folks are quitting and hence are treated very badly by the upper management layers- founders, delivery team. -Terror of co-founders: All the account leads (the unnecessary management layer) and the project managers (inexperienced business analysts) intimidate you and threaten you and get things done no matter what using just the name of the co-founders, who rely on a selected few. There is a lot of favoritism for those selected few. -Irrational and insensitive Account Leads: They don't understand technical things at all and micromanage you like anything. They will pull you in unnecessarily for unnecessary meetings for the most part of the day and waste your time in those meaningless discussions. -Even if you are 3+ years of experienced professional, you will be micromanaged by a fresher Business Analyst, an inefficient project manager/ account lead, a scrum master, an inexperienced and lazy onsite consultant and the co-founders. Since you will be the only technical person involved, all will chase you for updates on an hourly basis. -People from the delivery team are trained to make your lives difficult. They will misbehave with you on small things, threaten you on a daily basis and shout at you if you don't follow/ like their instructions. They think of themselves as the most powerful employees in the organization. -Worst exit policies. It becomes a prison at the end that you can not escape for months if you need full documentation and proper settlement to leave peacefully. The company is like a pre-nursery school in the beginning and sort of jail at the end.

Pros

Free (almost) snacks Cool ambience (for new office) Convenient location Abroad trips (for people who can become their lead's favorite)

Cons

Too much of favoritism Really, really bad HR team, almost all are clueless and just want to show they are doing great for company. The hiring team hires almost entirely on merits of referral and competitor (especially musigma) There is lack of communication even within own teams. You have to spend almost your entire day in office. Lack of experience in management.
