No training, very little process documentation.
Lacks actual management. Many people choose their own projects and most people choose too many. Managers have too many direct reports resulting in a removed point of view. As such, performance reviews are based on "input" from other engineers. This trends into nepotism. Scare resources are often given to whoever yells the loudest and project failures are handled with finger pointing and blame.
There's recently been some changes in management structure hopefully it helps because the products are interesting to work on and the overall company culture is great!
Also pay is a little low (10,-15%),under market.
