Pros

A lot of great people. Can easily put yourself in a position to get experience in other groups of sales. Career path if you want it. Fun people to work with. Office atmosphere is laid back.

Cons

Culture when I was there was shifting. Upper management had their own cliques depending on location. "Inner Circle" mentality was prevalent. Some management was just riding the coattails of great reps on their team. Very little value add. Some terrible salespeople did well because of deals being handed to them. Kept people that didn't perform way too long. Morale was low right before I left.

Pros

Good coworkers and middle management

Cons

Forced furloughs, Downsizing positions, Upper management too concerned with keeping their jobs than putting out a good product.

Pros

Quest has a real opportunity to grow through the acquistion by Dell in September 2012. It will be very interesting to see how the leverage of the Dell salesforce helps Quest grow organically.

Cons

Going from 3000 people to 120,000 people presents its own set of challenges. Hopefully Quest will work through the growing pains and make this a complete success.
