Pros

Some very solid, dedicated and wonderful colleagues. HR functions well. LuAnn is such an improvement compared to Dell days. Some product lines are very competitive still even for a 34 year old company.People are real assets especially since Jeff sold out all real estate.

Cons

Terrificly outdated internal procedures, huge amount of absolutely useless mid level managers who spent their days in thankless micromanagement. Very clingy upper leadership, some people there for 15-20 years doing no one knows what. VC's failed to sell Quest for profit but seems like fully determined to skquuse every penny out. Layoffs of developers and outsourcing tech development to third-party. New Quest is data driven ( read KPI) focus, mindless sale focus ( call blitz days! ) no social message, no development and no career path. Marketing is weak as malnourished and talent starved. Everything is working but it's kinda outdated, facelift on webpage is good start. Corporate greed can finish Quest off, but it will float forawile.

Pros

Good product range. Good colleagues. Good reputation.

Cons

Terrible internal processes for booking orders to earning commission. Concentrated firmly on EBITDA and not the comp plan, so difficult for a seller to earn big. Poor policies around territory alignment and splits for multi-region deals. Poor IT.

Pros

Can pay well if lucky/good at selling! Flexibility.

Cons

The portfolio of solution is not sexy to sell. It is hard to do proper business development. The Management can change at anytime (at least every new FY) your account sets which means it is not good if you are inside sales ( the Account Executives will be able to take your opportunities if the account is considered too big for you). At the moment there is no company culture, even though it should be better in future. Depend on which region you are working on, the channel is more or less developed. Sales targets are not necessarily well balanced.
