Pros

Can work from home since Covid began. Holidays are banked throughout the year to have one full week at Christmas.

Cons

Quota and commissions have been changing ever since I began with the company in 2019. First, we had yearly quota target, with a bonus payout at 1st half and then full year. Now, we have quarterly quota target with bonus payout at quarter end. Target Quota is always higher than the amount of annual opportunity in your pipeline so that you can build multiple year renewal order rate. Manual credits exist because net new team sells on top of your renewal products and when you apply for credit, many times you will be told the original renewal was never in your original quota or it is less than the threshold they are willing to do the backend accounting paperwork for. Always feel scammed. No stipend or payback for any materials purchased for work from home. Only allowed to bring laptop and power cables home. Monitors had to stay in office. I purchased all new office equipment—desk, chair, monitor to make it easier for me to work at home. This role is not really salaried, you still have to clock in and out daily. Overtime does happen but frowned on. Very time consuming with administrative work in quoting system. Also, there is very little advancement opportunity. You can try to move to other teams, but your manager/director can prevent the promotion.

The development you receive here is unheard of

Cons

You don't need a degree. The management is terrible. They force you to work overtime. They promise and OTE of 50k, but you will never and no one ever hits that. The pay structure is based on meetings qualified 60!, 45 meetings held, and 50k closed business (when you have no control over that aspect)
