It's Seen Better Days

Pros

Joined Quest when it was still part of Dell and learned a lot while on the job. Tools used for the role were spectacular until budget cuts happened. Flexible hours and it's nice to be able to work remote occasionally. Appreciated the week off during Christmas.

Cons

Promotions and raises are hard to attain. You can go above and beyond your duties, only to be told it wasn't enough to warrant a raise or promotion. Good employees leave if they are not being recognized for their talent. Morale has been low in the last 6 months and the office feels like a ghost town.

Thank you for your feedback. I don't have enough specifics to respond to many of your concerns but I will echo your sentiment that Quest has changed significantly since its divestiture from Dell two years ago. We believe the changes are positive including activity based wellness, not just premium reduction. Our goal with wellness is employee engagement and good health and community will follow. I don't see nepotism at all at Quest but we can always work harder to ensure that promotional opportunities are well advertised. good luck in your new job! LuAnn CHRO

Great low level managers and decent benefits.

Cons

With the Dell acquisition, we were told to continue business as usual, but then they pulled back resources, stopped hiring, and told us to do more work with fewer employees. They often didn't replace head count when they left. Product quality decreased, which was obvious to customers. You can point out that my review is really about Dell management, but the damage was pretty permanent. A new name and a pretty new logo doesn't fix years of mismanagement and damage to the products.
