Pros

Good place to learn virtualization technology, pretty laid back support group. Reimbursement for approved certification like VCP, and MCSE.

Cons

Have been working here for three years, recieved 3% raised, which was pretty much nullified by furlough for two of the three years working here. So far Q1 2012, I've seen layoffs in my department, and no furloughs yet. Also, my department is very numbers driven, and heavy on customer satisfaction. The support role is more of a customer service role, than a technical/engineering role.

Pros

Quest was a great place to work. People were always focused, intent on winning and got things done when it was needed Great culture within product sets.

Cons

PE strangled what were good products without investing or updating. However, plenty of money to burn on unproven, obsolete, companies & products to get into the AI market. They simply abandoned long standing, dedicated enterprise customers using legacy products and laid off all their experienced workers that supported them. I still don't understand how their still in business, it won't be long. Get what you can while you can. It's turned very toxic with turnover from upper management from my understanding. Eventually you'll just be another statistic with a bullseye on your back.

Decent products overshadowed by toxic culture and poor leadership

Pros

Some decent products.. though lacking real market fit

Cons

Where to begin. This place is a complete dumpster fire. From the top to the Vp level. Just horrible people who consistently put the blame on either the reps or marketing or fill in the blank. This place would be better if the CEO didn’t bring in all his buddies for a quick payday. All this accompanied by a “figure it out on your own” mentality makes this place a zero out of 5.
