High pay, low culture

Pros

Big name clients, interesting briefs that blend comms and tech. Lots of smart people that work hard. Great pay relative to the industry.

Cons

Extremely political, often to the detriment of the team or project . Lacks any real culture. Still run like a production shop with very weak account management, so expect to indulge in a lot of unreasonable asks from clients. Less creative integrity than other tier one shops, "good enough" is just fine.

Pros

Don't get me wrong, connections and future career opps are aplenty. There is also a lot of room for work-related growth and learning.

Cons

After moving up, some people think too highly of themselves. Work on your interpersonal relations skills, and stop the shadiness because no one wants to be associated with that kind of human character.

Pros

Great atmosphere and a real focus on excellent work.

Cons

Big accounts means less interesting work. The bravery in the creative has be de-prioritized for big accounts with big budgets to grow the company. This is slowly killing the company culture as talented folks leave to find a place where they can do innovative work.
