Pros

Honestly, can't think of many positive aspects, even if trying to be fair. Some good people there, but mostly the younger ones who haven't been tainted yet and don't have enough (or any) experience outside RRD to know better. In many respects, the company is very well run. It is largely successful, lean, and back-office functions are solid. That comes at the expense of high-turnover from a churn-em and burn-em mentality. They are willing to fire people, and entire departments, if they are too vocal and not aligned with management.

Cons

Benefits are horrible, getting worse year over year, even when company does well. Mid to upper management largely worked their way up by being rubber-stamps to those above. The clique mentality is so strong that if you are not in, you're out... way out.

Nice people, but Little or no culture or employee investment

Pros

Very stable business. It has basic benefits. Calm atmosphere. Most of the people are nice as well.

Cons

High work and stress environment. They don't have the budget to hire more people. Poor or no training across the board. Little or no advancement. Since print is dying, the business has had to move to less profitable business models. No culture. Many parts of the business are not directly managed due to lack of man power.
