Pros

Challenging work that constantly gives you the opportunity to learn new things. Majority of the Tax Group is great to work with and exhibits a team atmosphere.

Cons

Expensive Medical benefits package. Continued focus on cost cutting w/ employee perks, benefits, etc. the main target to accomplish that goal. The international compliance side of the Tax Group is extremely hard to work with, offers no coaching and a complete lack of respect for one's time.

Pros

Lots of great people in an industry where there's always new content to interact with. Work/life balance is very flexible and the office is very casual. Great place to start out if you're in the publishing field.

Cons

Since the company was bought by a giant corporation, the start-up culture has all but disappeared. Roles are very strict and raises/promotions mean slogging through tons of red tape. Not for the movers and shakers out there.
