      Time for a wake-up call!

      Pros

      Committed employees (although there is a risk of losing quality staff if/when economy improves).

      Cons

      Toxic culture (in GCM business). Failure to respond to clients needs will ultimately lead to loss of market share, revenue, etc. Need to foster innovation as print volumes diminish. Senior management sheltered from hard truths by mid-management (I was an MD with RRD so am familiar with the "managing up" culture at RRD).
