It is a fast-paced environment and can be stressful at times, but if you put the work in the rewards can be satisfying. This is not a typical 9-5, mind-numbing job. You will be challenged daily and if you have the smarts you can advance through the organisation.

Cons

The hours can be long and unsociable sometimes, and include shift work. When the financial markets are riding high, you may work 18 hours a day, seven days a week.

Pros

It used to be a very good place to work offering a family atmospere. For the past few years management has gone in a different direction and now exploit hourly employees and offer little in the way of perks or praise for any of these employees. Sales and Customer service have become even more lavish than before offering breakfasts and lunches and tickets to special entertainment events while adopting a certain "let them eat cake" attitude towards the hourly employees.

Cons

It has turned from the Bowne Family, into the Bowne Family Plantation with all client facing employees being the Plantation Owners and the hourly employees being the slaves.

Pros

Though hard to find, there are some leaders who exist here who do have your best interest in mind, especially in terms of your personal and professional growth. This is also apparent in some of the opportunities provided like the Mentorship program.

Cons

As at most places, politics is pretty obvious when it happens, especially with promotions and the people who still work here.
