Pros

The people in my region before the mergers. Breadth of product line was tremendous, so there was plenty to sell to in the B2B sales environment. The brand recognition was very good no metter what customer or prospect you were calling on at any level

Cons

Idiotic leadership that would throw you under the bus in a hearbeat. Cross selling was a mess and extremely unfair to the sales representatives. Many from the RRD side after the merger with Moore Wallace were sharks. After the merger, you could not trust anyone except those you knew well from before the mergers and had already developed strong relationships with.

Pros

The more experienced workers there are more than willing to share their experience with the younger generation. Tremendous amount of cooperation between peer groups. Proud history of the company.

Cons

No chance career advancement, just career entrenchment. Wherever you start your career - you'll be there till the bitter end.

Pros

this is a small company with a great startup feel, it's nice to be able to sit in a room with senior management and brain storm software ideas, a really great way to learn a lot about work and the software business. also, the leadership were very committed in training and nurturing new employees but were also respful of their talents. best part is, this is the one company where i saw ZERO micro management. i have greatly missed those days since i moved on to other jobs. also the company invested in training you, be it classes or books, which was great,

Cons

benefits, compensation were really bad. I made a LOT less than other people in my position else where. in addition, the health care was non existence almost. we paid A LOT of premium a month for very low coverage. we had a life insurance policy which was canceled a year into the job. there was no concept of bonuses, once a year at chrismas time we got a sad little basket of fruits and candy, that's it. the raise per yr never went above 2%, for anyone, regardless of performance. this was the number one reason why people left. there were much more lucrative offers elsewhere.
