Pros

Nothing much… does heat, indoor plumbing (sometimes) count? I guess the only good thing I can say is that it's a job - if your IQ level is that of a vegetable.

Cons

Horrible management who are clueless and plays favorites all the time. HR is corrupt. Most managers have their husband/wife/brother/sister/son/daughter working there and there's zero chance of advancement - not to mention a conflict of interest. Low pay, raises and bonuses are a joke (under 1%). Management creates a hostile work environment by micro managing, harassing, and treating employees like dirt. All work is outsourced to India - the employees there are nothing but "quality checkers" of mediocre work.

Pros

You get to work with great co-workers. There is always a chance to do new things, but, I guess that depends on the team and the manager.

Cons

The salary you negotiate when you start will probably be your salary for the next few years. So negotiate hard. No 401K match, stock options, bonus etc.

Pros

Fast paced environment during proxy and filing season. IPOs, M&A documents you could sense the importance of them. Work with high level customers - attorneys, CXOs, investment bankers. Family environment, made some good friends. Some good mentors for me at the time were there.

Cons

Not much room to grow and increase salary. Slow to change, they do printing after all, fading medium..
