Good promotional structure in the offices. Plenty of opportunity for advancement (in the offices). Great pay. Decent benefits for families (not individuals).

Cons

Office politics that aren't any different in another company.

The company has many dedicated employees that for the most part care abou ttheir job and the quality of their work.

Cons

Management from director level up cares only about their career Health benefits are EXPENSIVE No pension or 401k matching Raises last few years have not existed or everyone gets 1% (and health cost goes up 7%) There is no room for advancement unless you are the "friend" of Sr. management.

Pros

The facility that you work in will make or break your experience at RRD. If you have a good Plant Manager, who looks out for the employees, and shields them from all of the Corp crap, it's a good place to work. If you aren't lucky to have a good Plant Manager it can be pretty miserable.

Cons

Raises are small, cost of living type, so if you work hard there is little additional compensation. Often times there isn't any upward mobility, because management rarely leaves, and when they do they often times don't fill those positions.
