      Pros

      It is a job that provides basic needs to live on.

      Cons

      I have been with Donnelley as a machine operator over 10 years now. I've watched the employee benefits dry up, and the work load double. The management team uncaring except to met numbers. Machine upgrades neglected and deteriorating. It is no longer a career, it's just a job now.

      Irritating.

      Pros

      It's really easy work. The packer is mostly the quality, so if you're good at catching things, then this is probably for you. The pay is good.

      Cons

      Rumors, and even management likes to gossip. The coworkers aren't bad, however if you're female and can't handle things being spread around about you- then steer clear. If your a male and work on the floor and want an office job it's going to be very hard to get it. Even if a male has more experience, if a pretty girl walks in- they'll get it. On top of that- I don't think this is a place if you have a family. RR Donnelley has to maintain 50% overtime required by the end of the year.

      An OK company to work for; old boys network at the top

      Decent pay; opportunities all over the world.

      Cons

      AWFUL benefits; Shrinking/dying industry; Senior Management is an "old boys network". I was part of the sales organization and didn't appear that upper management had a good handle on what their people were doing which was disheartening.
