Pros

Fairly good PTO accumulations each pay period.

Cons

Only one choice for health plan with high deductible. PAY IS VERY LOW for work that is expected and desired degree in radiography. Very small pay increases. Get with the "in" crowd so you won't be critized at constantly. Management is hands-off and delegates supervisor duties to someone without any prior experience managing employees, Unfair employment practices with nepotism. No chance for advancement unless related to someone or with the "in" crowd.

Pros

The back office staff is really nice and easy to work with

Cons

They provide no training and just hand you an unorganized binder with paperwork that is years old and tell you to figure it out

Pros

Working alongside incredible radiologists. Great breadth of experience in exams and patient care.

Cons

Slow to acquire additional training. Lack of incentives and pay with upward mobility. High burnout and turnover rate which leads to attrition of work responsibilities on technologists. Thus poor culture across all levels of employment. Upper management prioritizing volume over patient care.
