Cons

Corporate has no clue on the decisions they make for the little guys. How it makes a trickle down effect. Making decisions when they have never sat in the seats of those they make decisions for. Local management is great, they listen to your needs and genuinely care how your day is going.

Most company initiatives that are rolled out are done so in collaboration with cross functional teams in the field providing input and best practices. In addition, we have a number of former technologists and administrative associates who are in corporate positions. Awesome coworkers, understanding company, if you need diagnostic imaging done as outpatient, the company will do it at no charge.

Company does not give raises.

Thanks for the advice. Consistency across teams, combined with the need to account for differences in the workflow and requirements of each team is our goal. I encourage you to talk with the RCM leadership team or HR if there are specific concerns related to misunderstandings or inconsistencies, so those can be addressed or explained. While we replaced the traditional annual salary increase program with a merit bonus plan based on individual and company performance, we continue to evaluate all positions compared to market and make adjustments where needed.
