Pros

Friendly work environment but can be very cliquey.

Cons

Management should recognize the support staff in more ways than just providing breakfast or lunch a few times a year. Compensation is below par, as are the bonuses. Management tends to play favorites with the support staff which leaves the rest of us feeling very undervalued. This is a tough balancing act type of position. The brokers are never wrong and management always sides with the brokers. This company is not one I would recommend, as I have worked for others, and the hierarchy was different. Currently looking for a CSA position elsewhere.

Pros

The office space is nice, the staff is friendly. The systems are semi-user friendly.

Cons

They undervalue support staff. Managers pick and choose favorites, and spend money on things rather than giving deserving employees compensation. Lots of red tape and gossiping.

Pros

Work/life balance, competitive compensation, company values, high integrity within the financial services industry, opportunity for personal growth, accessible corporate structure

Cons

While pay is competitive, RBC is very slow to promote employees. There are not title promotions. Additionally, RBC is very slow to adapt to the changing market environment.
