Pros

You get insurance experience if you are new to the field. They pay for training and licenses.

Cons

Too much sales pressure and micro-management. In addition to regular sales target for home & auto insurance, they require you to obtain cross functional referrals (e.g. life insurance).

Pros

Plenty of resources to do your job. Benefits were good when I was there and there is plenty of quality individuals within the organization.

Cons

The compensations system for my area was a bit of a black box. I had a very hard time figuring out what I felt the correct compensation was based on my production.
