Pros

People are down-to-earth, smart, friendly, and exceptionally passionate about their work, their clients, and about RBC. The company does a lot to invest in the employees and makes you feel wanted, rewarded, and informed to the best of their ability.

Cons

I believe this is more of an industry con, but too many books are done, some of which are not even required in the first place. Specifically to RBC, it is probably the best time to take lead and move officially into bulge bracket.

Pros

Higher pay than competitive companies.

Cons

Horrible training program. The first 1.5 months I literally had nothing to do. The department was too busy to train me in. Forget about lunch! You won't have time to take one. Management is hands down the worst I have ever seen in a company. In the 12 months I workes there my department had a 120% turnover rate in staff. That's not an exaggeration either.
