Pros

The training is pretty relaxed and very encouraging, it helps you to understand the products they want you to focus on. It did help me grow, provided a lot of knowledge in terms of banking products and customer service/sales. The hours are okay, 11-8, it's a bit frustrating at times finishing later in the evening then most people, but starting later has its benefits too.

Cons

At times it can be a bit broad and it needs to improve on the amount of time you actually practice, as the theory really didn't compare to the real thing. Also the managers are really friendly, but often in terms of actually helping in one on one situations, they handle it poorly.

Everyone respects the firm. ESOP is good. Stock has been performing great.

Cons

Difficult to negotiate 4 weeks off.

Pros

It's actually one of the few 9-5 jobs today. Stable salary.

Cons

Pretty slow paced, come in and write your code. They don't like social or outgoing people, but this really varies by group. I'm in technology and it's more of an attitude of "keep your head down and work".
